New Appointment: Chloe Kagan, Director of Philanthropic Development for HackerNest

As of August 1, 2016, Chloe Kagan shall assume the role of Director of Philanthropic Development for HackerNest, with a mandate to work closely with the executive team on overall philanthropic program development. She’ll draw from her deep humanitarian, rights advocacy, and fundraising experience in Canada and the Africas to help progress the sustainability and cause direction of HackerNest through building strong, lasting relationships with partners, sponsors and donors.

In the past one and a half years, Chloe has been instrumental in enhancing the programming for our cause hackathons like DementiaHack, and was instrumental in helping craft the infrastructure for our sponsorship programs across both the hackathon business line and international community-building.
